The EUREC4A Planning Workshop will take place on September 24-26 in Paris, starting on Tuesday, September 24th (9AM) and finishing on Thursday, September 26th around lunchtime.
We will notify you by email once registration has opened.
Objectives of the meeting
1. Exchange information about the current status of EUREC4A (e.g. science objectives, platforms, instrumentation, logistics, outline provisional flight planning and ship deployment schedules)
2. Identify problems and elaborate solutions
3. Identify data products (to be available/produced before, during and after EUREC4A)
4. Plan next steps
Early Career Scientists Workshop
On Monday September 23, 2019 preceding the planning workshop, we would like to offer an optional pre-meeting workshop especially for early career scientists (ECS). The ECS workshop provides PhD candidates and PostDocs the opportunity to present their science questions for EUREC4A in short talks, to exchange ideas, and shall offer an entry point to get to know the EUREC4A community. We also would like to encourage other people, not necessarily ECS, to participate if they are interested to join the discussion. If you are interested in participating in this workshop, please indicate your interest in the registration form, which will open soon. The ECS workshop is organized by Ann Kristin Naumann.
